Who We Are: Carrie Schneider Carney, Senior Paralegal

Carrie Schneider Carney has nearly 16 years of immigration-related experience. Ms. Carney graduated Cum Laude in Legal Studies from the four-year Bachelor of Arts, Legal Studies program at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB) in 1995.

A former Immigration and Naturalization Service (now known as Customs and Border Protection and Citizenship and Immigration Services) Immigration Inspector, Ms. Carney worked at both the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada and in a similar role in Cleveland, Ohio. As an Immigration Inspector, Ms. Carney was responsible for determining eligibility of applicants for admission to the U.S and conducting ship inspections, processing refugees, and acting as the Student Liaison Officer. A promotion to District Adjudications Officer gained Carrie valuable experience in conducting adjustment of status, naturalization, and removal of conditions (I-751) interviews.

Berardi Immigration Law: Carrie Carnie

 Ms. Carney’s corporate experience includes working at a large multi-national corporate law firm where her focus was on preparing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, and family-based preference petitions. Upon joining Berardi Immigration Law, Ms. Carney assumed the position of Senior Paralegal. Ms. Carney utilizes her impressive background and experience in preparing all manner of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions as well as criminal and other waivers.
