rosanna-berardi-web-signature-buttonTen years ago, Rosanna Berardi founded Berardi Immigration Law. Rosanna has a unique combination of government, university and corporate experience that provides her with a broad perspective of the immigration landscape.

She started her career at the legacy Immigration & Naturalization Service (“INS”) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia, and then worked as an Immigration Inspector at the Peace Bridge while attending law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Rosanna quickly climbed the ranks at INS, eventually being hired as a full-time Immigration Trial Attorney at the New York City Office through the prestigious Attorney General’s Honor Program. In this position, Rosanna gained extensive litigation experience by representing the INS in Immigration Court on a daily basis. She prepared and presented over 400 cases in immigration court before 31 different immigration judges.

She then went on to work at the University of New York at Buffalo in the International Student & Scholar Services Office as Immigration Counsel. In this role, she was responsible for preparing and submitting all employment-based immigration petitions including OPT, CPT, TN, H-1B and green card petitions. She also handled the Outstanding Researcher/Professor and Special Handling immigrant petitions.

Rosanna entered private law practice in 1998 when she joined Buffalo’s largest law firm as an Immigration Associate. She spent six years with Hodgson Russ LLP and gained extensive experience working with multinational companies in connection with B-1, H-1B, L-1, TN and O-1, and green card transfers to the U.S. She also represented Canadian corporations expanding or relocating to the U.S.

Today, as the Managing Partner of Berardi Immigration Law, Rosanna continues to identify emerging trends in adjudication procedures and leverage that knowledge for the benefit of her clients. She’s also a sought after speaker and media source on immigration-related issues.

In her spare time, Rosanna enjoys planning vacations, parties, reading and scrapbooking.
